Description Ola Thoresen 2008-10-30 21:29:29 CET
There is a conflict between a new gstreamer-plugins-bad in elisa-repo and a new x264 in rpmfusion.

I know elisa is not an official repo and this is merely a "heads up":

---> Package x264.x86_64 0:0.0.0-0.15.20080613.fc9 set to be updated
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
gstreamer-plugins-bad-0.10.8.1-0.3.fc9.x86_64 from installed has depsolving problems
  --> Missing Dependency: libx264.so.59()(64bit) is needed by package gstreamer-plugins-bad-0.10.8.1-0.3.fc9.x86_64 (installed)
Error: Missing Dependency: libx264.so.59()(64bit) is needed by package gstreamer-plugins-bad-0.10.8.1-0.3.fc9.x86_64 (installed)

Also, there is no x86_64-version of gstreamer-plugins in rpmfusion:

There is an x86_64 version:
http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/updates/9/x86_64/gstreamer-plugins-bad-0.10.7-4.fc9.x86_64.rpm

But you are not seeing it because you have a newer version locally installed. This is what you get when mixing and matching repo's. The version in rpmfusion is newer then all versions in repos (livna, freshrpms) where we support upgrade paths from.

And we've not updated to a newer release in the F-9 repo because we keep our versions synced with the matching base/good releases in Fedora (that is with the versions released at the same time, they do not have the same version nr).
