mplayer-gui installs the icon properly. What you see in your menu is probably some leftover or a manually installed entry. Are you sure the entry with the missing icon belongs to mplayer-gui package? Hello, I never installed mplayer by hand on this computer so I do not think this is due to another installation. When I right click on the menu then add it to desktop I can have the properties of the launcher which is: Name: MPlayer Description: Movie Player Command: mplayer %U Comment: Watch movies and videos I am not sure from where this menu entry can come but it is installed by a yum always using the Rpmfusion repo. After installing the mplayer-gui. I have a new line in the Applications Menu which where there is the MPlayer icon. It seems that the installation of mplayer (or mplayer-common) gives this entry. You must have put it there manually somehow. Please have a look in the /usr/share/applications directory and check if there are any mplayer-related files that are not owned by any package. Or maybe you have one in your home directory. Either way, this entry doesn't come with any of the mplayer packages, so it's not a bug. |
