Description PFJ 2010-07-25 19:43:49 CEST
x264 needs to be rebuilt with a newer version. x264_nal_encode now takes 4 arguments instead of 3.

This is blocking cinelerra from building

I'm using x264-0.0.0-0.28.20100706gitd058f37.fc14.i686

You might need to revert the change from the cinelerra-cv git tree for the time being.

Newer x264's API will be picked sooner or later during the F-14 developement process.
thx for working on cinelerra.

Please take a new snapshot, at least 20110301, it supports AVX for sandy bridge. If you disable "--disable-asm" in the spec file, the encoding performance increases by at least 10% on my Core i3.

This is a perpetual bug, but is fixed for now.
Please provide patches if an update is requested if relevant.
