This is what the screen of my laptop looks like after installing kmod-nvidia

I have a Fujitsu Amilo Pi 3560 machine which has a GeForce GT 240M.
I decided to use the kmod-nvidia package to use the NVidia driver. (This is what they recommended to me in #fedora on Freenode.)

I followed the steps as described here:
http://fedorasolved.org/video-solutions/nvidia-yum-kmod

However, after completing the above steps and restarting my machine, the screen was showing a very odd visual artifact. (I took a photo and uploaded here as attachment.)

Note that according to NVidia's site, the driver version in the kmod-nvidia package should work with my card. (http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux-display-amd64-195.36.31-driver.html)

Downloading and installing the latest drivers directly from NVidia solved my issue. However, I'd rather not have it this way, because of the problems described on http://fedorasolved.org/video-solutions/3rd-pty-video .

The Fedora guys recommended me to file a bug report here.

I cannot consider report not showing the output of nvidia-bug-report.sh

Update of the nvidia driver is scheduled anyway.
