I could add Provides: mame-data et al, since renaming a package is a lot of work on the admin side and I see no benefit here. I am actually considering dropping these packages altogether, since in my opinion they violate the code vs data rule and also bundle multiple upstream packages into one rpm. I'm also think we don't need to package those data, I always download data manully from upstream actually. RPMFusion is no longer releasing updates for this version of Fedora. This bug will be set to RESOLVED:EXPIRED next week to reflect this. If the problem persists after upgrading to the latest version of Fedora, please update the version field of this bug (and re-open it if it has been closed). Setting to RESOLVED:EXPIRED since RPMFusion is no longer releasing updates for this version of Fedora. |
To avoid confusion, request that the packages: sdlmame-data sdlmame-data-artwork sdlmame-data-roms sdlmame-data-samples are respectively obsoleted/renamed to: mame-data mame-data-artwork mame-data-roms mame-data-samples to reflect the sdlmame merge into the core mamedev project since version 0.136-1.
