The i686 version is missing from i386 as well as x86_64. The rebuilt have been done already so the package should be available on testing for the next push. This is fixed in rpmfusion-nonfree-updates-testing. Thx for your report. |
When attempting to install kmod-nvidia-173xx the appropriate nvidia-173xx-kmod-common package is missing. I tried 'yum search nvidia-173xx-kmod-common' which found no results. I have tried 'yum clean all' and disabling fastestmirror to no avail. Here is an example of yum output: ---------- [root@localhost ~]# yum install kmod-nvidia-173xx Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit Adding en_US to language list Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile * fedora: mirror.karneval.cz * livna: ftp-stud.fht-esslingen.de * rpmfusion-free: mirror.karneval.cz * rpmfusion-free-updates: mirror.karneval.cz * rpmfusion-nonfree: mirror.karneval.cz * rpmfusion-nonfree-updates: mirror.karneval.cz * updates: mirror.karneval.cz Setting up Install Process Resolving Dependencies --> Running transaction check ---> Package kmod-nvidia-173xx.i686 0:173.14.28-1.fc14.2 set to be installed --> Processing Dependency: kmod-nvidia-173xx-2.6.35.6-48.fc14.i686 >= 173.14.28-1.fc14.2 for package: kmod-nvidia-173xx-173.14.28-1.fc14.2.i686 --> Running transaction check ---> Package kmod-nvidia-173xx-2.6.35.6-48.fc14.i686.i686 0:173.14.28-1.fc14.2 set to be installed --> Processing Dependency: nvidia-173xx-kmod-common >= 173.14.28 for package: kmod-nvidia-173xx-2.6.35.6-48.fc14.i686-173.14.28-1.fc14.2.i686 --> Finished Dependency Resolution Error: Package: kmod-nvidia-173xx-2.6.35.6-48.fc14.i686-173.14.28-1.fc14.2.i686 (rpmfusion-nonfree-updates) Requires: nvidia-173xx-kmod-common >= 173.14.28 You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
