(In reply to comment #0) > Thx rebuilding XBMC I'm about to update to latest xbmc: 10.1, so the rebuild for mysql will be rolled into that one. Actually the rebuilt has picked an old version of mysql-devel. So this has failed. I've kicked a rebuild but it then failed to build against the newer version of ffmpeg. The fix might be trivial (missing link flag because not using the right .pc or else). http://buildsys.rpmfusion.org/logs/fedora-development-rpmfusion_free/9284-xbmc-10.1-3.fc15/i686/build.log (feel free to remove my commit and bump). Odd, was the new version not yet in Fedora's updates-testing at the time I built it? > I've kicked a rebuild but it then failed to build against the newer version of > ffmpeg. Upstream preferes package maintainers not compile against external ffmpeg in any case. They always recommend users use the internal bundled version. It's not entirely their fault that they can't stipulate builds against a stable (or even snapshot of) ffmpeg, apparently ffmpeg takes a long time to accept patches. I'll look into fixing the build. In the meantime I filed a bug with upstream: http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/11411 You got this to build? I didn't see a new build of 10.1-3.fc15 in the build system. |
