Description Nicolas Chauvet 2011-04-13 10:35:12 CEST
This bug track package that should be out of the repository for the F-15 beta release:

- nvidia-173xx and nvidia-96xx aren't compatible with the current xorg-x11-server provided in Fedora 15.
- same for catalyst driver
- xdtv has to be blocked, unmaintained (won't work with v4l1 )
- kqemu is pointless nowadays. save our builder compile time.
- autopano-sift-C is already in fedora.
- others ... ?

nvidia/catalyst aren't formally marked as dead.package into the repository, unless that's mandatory. Others should have been done.

There is also the poulsbo driver to be removed. (will be replaced by emgd eventually for f15 if driver works).
akmod-psb
xorg-x11-drv-psb
psb-kmod
libdrm-poulsbo
libdrm-poulsbo-devel
Comment 2 Nicolas Chauvet 2011-05-01 15:56:17 CEST
Removing nvidia-173xx from f15 blacklisting. The new driver is advertised as compatible.
Comment 3 Nicolas Chauvet 2011-05-25 12:19:08 CEST
Thoses modules are now marked as dead.package for bothe devel and F-15 and can be removed from the repository:

kqemu
kqemu-kmod
libdrm-poulsbo
xorg-x11-drv-psb
psb-firmware
psb-kmod
xpsb-glx
xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-96xx
