That's because you need to reboot. It is /!/DANGEROUS/!/ not to reboot completely, because libGL apps might be in use. (and/or fglrx.ko got only installed for the lastest kernel) You can have Xorg-server to collapse in the not so uncommon case. (and loose your work) I'm going to close this since as kwizart mentioned, installing or updating the drivers without rebooting is not supported in the current setup (experimental support is in rpmfusion-config-display - see the review request for more details). This could also be a duplicate of bug 184... Either way, this issue has already been reported or is WONTFIX for now. |
