Crash Log.

I first discovered this bug while running F14 32 bit, but I reinstalled with F15 64 bit and the issue is the same. I'm trying to browse hdhomerun devices, the devices never show and XBMC doesn't show an error log. But when I create a stream file and try to open it through XBMC it errors out. I'm able to open the stream files fine on XBMC through Windows and in VLC on all machines. I've attached my crash log.

It should also be noted that I could record the stream and play it back through XBMC fine.

Please let me know if you need anything else I can help with.

Don't have an hdhomerun to test on. Currently the support is enabled by compiling against the separate hdhomerun package, but that requires patching XBMC and there may be issues with that. What version are you running:

$ rpm -q hdhomerun

I'll check when I get home.

A new build of the 11.0 Eden-beta1 release is now in rawhide/f17:

http://buildsys.rpmfusion.org/build-status/job.psp?uid=11179

that may (or may not) fix the hdhomerun issue, although nothing seemed have substantially changed in xbmc and the patch I created was still necessary, so it may not fix this.

In any case, let me know if it addresses the problem and I'll close this bug. Once this Eden build has been in testing for a while and when we get closer to Eden, I'll push an Eden version to rpmfusion-free-updates-testing for f15 and f16.

That build failed, this build finished:

RPMFusion is no longer releasing updates for this version of Fedora. This bug
will be set to RESOLVED:EXPIRED next week to reflect this.

If the problem persists after upgrading to the latest version of Fedora, please
update the version field of this bug (and re-open it if it has been closed).
Comment 6 Emmanuel Seyman 2012-07-11 21:33:48 CEST
Setting to RESOLVED:EXPIRED since RPMFusion is no longer releasing updates for
this version of Fedora.
Comment 7 Alex Lancaster 2012-07-11 21:37:07 CEST
If this is still a problem in 17 or later, please re-open.
