Description N Coghill 2008-11-28 05:09:01 CET
The icon for VLC in the GNOME system tray does not display properly when the tray has transparency enabled. This happens every time and I am using an nVidia FX 6200 with kmod-nvidia and desktop effects enabled.Sye

I cannot reproduce this bug with kmod-nvidia and GNOME but on F-9 with the same vlc version. So , at this time, I cannot conclude that the problem is in vlc.

Does the upate to 0.9.8a in updates-testing change this behaviour ?
Comment 4 N Coghill 2008-12-10 05:14:37 CET
I have installed the update 0.9.8a today from the updates repo and the problem persists.

I had the same icon problem with Skype on Fedora 9. I have not tried Skype on Fedora 10.

Do the problem still appears ?
But anyway i wasn't thinking the problem was in vlc, was it ?

The bug does not seem to be appearing any more. It may have been a problem with something else though.

resolved as fixed, despite vlc was probably not the component for this problem.

Thx for reporting.
