As exeperienced with vlc-1.2.0-pre2.tar.xz, our buildsys doesn't seem to support archives of that sort.
I expect it's just a matter to install xz by default in the buildroot.


There is a need to review the current set of packages available in the buildroot for current fedora/EL targets.

Ok it seems that the error was unrelated to xz which is supported already.
But because kdenlive was building on rpmfusion.org builder vlc built for rawhide took jarod's builder which is known to fail.

I expect the resubmitted build will succeed. 

That been said we really should disbable jarod builder (or to fix it).

Jarod's builders seems deactivated but the builder1.rpmfusion.org still reference it in the configuration. (at least for the F-15 target).

Mostly for the remaining F-15 case in Fedora.
But for RHEL there is still a pending question of which mirror to pull el packages from ?

Can be sorted out from this report, for el cases :
https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2044

So the problem in current Fedora is solved.
