I'd like to consider moving this into the Fedora repos.

qtractor can be built without MP3 support (and optionally most other modules).
Reasons for this is the Audio SIG documentation refers to qtractor extensively and we would like to ship it with a future Audio spin.

I'm not sure what the best way to handle this is, either by renaming in rpmfusion or providing an alternative package name in Fedora. What is the standard here?

No sharde ibrariy issues here, the executables could live side by side but would we want the rpmfusion one to Provides: qtractor in any case?

I am fine with having a single package without MP3 support at Fedora. One can always use RPMFusion tools to convert from/to MP3 files, so this should not be too big of an issue.

That said, I am also fine with renaming the package here. It's your call. Please give me the bug number if you submit it to Fedora, so I can help with the review.

There is an audacity-freeworld package in the same situation. That one does not Provides: audacity. We can take that as a starting point.
