Created attachment 1089 [details] switch to ffmpeg-compat From http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Release_Notes_2.0.3 I read (Linux) Audacity does not currently compile against very recent FFmpeg (0.10 or later are known to be affected) so maybe it is a solution switch to ffmpeg-compat , and compiles fine other patches are the same of audacity of fedora package, I'm posting builds on http://www.serjux.com/audacity-freeworld/ hans has the acl to do the change for you. I haven't time to set you the acl, thx for taking care of this. Created attachment 1090 [details] patch switch to ffmpeg-compat v2 fix for i386 arches yum --tmprepo http://www.serjux.com/audacity-freeworld/0018/repodata/repomd.xml --nogpg update or yum --tmprepo http://www.serjux.com/audacity-freeworld/0018/repodata/repomd.xml --nogpg install audacity-freeworld is working for who wants to test it I'm back from holidays, so I can grab your patch, build etc. David. I'll also be moving to current release 2.0.3. Hi, I've just finished updating to 2.0.3 in Fedora and started a build for rawhide (with f17 - f19 to follow). I'll go and sync the rpmfusion packages with all the changes I've made, as well as add the changes to build with ffmpeg-compat. I'll commit this to CVS when I'm done, building will need to wait till the new portaudio I have created hits the rawhide resp. F-19 mirrors. Regards, Hans Ok, I've committed all the necessary changes for a new 2.0.3 based audacity package to the devel branch in CVS. Building this needs to wait for tomorrows rawhide push as it needs a new enough portaudio. |
