Description:
When playing a .wmv on vlc-2.0.5-6 the video shows correctly but the audio is almost completely covered by noise. Vlc plays other file types just fine and the same .wmv files that don't play correctly on vlc play correctly on mplayer.

This same issue is present in Arch linux too.

Do you have a sample file ?
Comment 3 Nicolas Chauvet 2013-04-09 20:07:45 CEST
Can you try to reproduce with 2.0.6 in rpmfusion-free-updates-testing ?
Comment 4 Nicolas Chauvet 2013-04-14 12:55:49 CEST
Testing with vlc-2.0.6 it sounds like the audio track for both video is dirty, but I can hear the voice for both.
To me the issue is fixed.

Sorry for the delayed response. The issue seems to be solved. Thank you for updating vlc.

Can you please update this package in Fedora rawhide too?
