Hi, Good to hear about unar, is it commandline compatible? If so I would leak to see an unrar symlink + Obsoletes / Provides added to unar, and when that is done unrar can be retired from rpmfusion. If it is not commandline compatible, it is probably better to keep unrar around as people may have custom scripts, etc. depending on it. Regards, Hans It isn't command line compatible. I will leave it upto you to decide whether to drop or not. I would suggest keeping it for now until the point Ark supports it anyway. Does unar support the new RAR 5.0 archiving format? Feel free to test and report any issues upstream RAR 5 does not work, don't drop unrar. Embedded RAR 5 Archive parsing failed! (Attempted to read more data than was available.) https://bitbucket.org/WAHa_06x36/theunarchiver/issues/685/add-support-for-rar-5 This isn't really an open request anymore. Closing. |
