oops, it's in -bad, wrong package. You may also want to build with the devel packages from bug #1742 (vo*) We cannot enabled faac is the free section. There is a need to have the nonfree counterpart. Created attachment 1268 [details]

Here is a spec file for a -nonfree package based on the freeworld one.
Let's make this into a new package bug then.. This is analogous to the gstreamer-plugins-bad-nonfree of the 0.10 days, but based on gstreamer1-plugins-bad-freeworld. Created attachment 1269 [details]

First of all sorry for the slow reply. Well I'm the maintainer of the other gstreamer packages, but the problem is I'm really swamped with Fedora packaging work. So if you're interested in helping out, I could really use a co-maintainer. Don't worry about lack of experience I can coach you in the beginning. We could start with you creating a package for streamer1-plugins-bad-nonfree and submitting that for review. After that I can arrange for you getting commit access to all the gstreamer* packages, and if you want in the beginning you can just commit changes without kicking of a build and then I can do a quick check before starting a build.
