libbdplus is a research project to implement the BD+ System Specifications.
This research project provides, through an open-source library, a way to
understand how the BD+ works.

This project doesn't offer any key, configuration file or certificate that could
be used to decode encrypted copyrighted material.

$ rpmlint *rpm
libbdplus-devel.x86_64: W: no-documentation
4 packages and 0 specfiles checked; 0 errors, 1 warnings.

This package cannot be included in Fedora as it depends on libaacs which is hosted in RPMFusion repositories.
Comment 1 Simone Caronni 2014-01-06 11:21:08 CET
This is required for the upcoming VLC 2.2 BD+ support. It can be compiled without libaacs support, but without it there's no way to play encrypted discs.

Upstream patch added after 0.1.0 for removing libaacs support:

Comment 3 Xavier Bachelot 2014-01-06 12:04:30 CET
Already submitted : https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3099
And libaacs is already packaged so libbdplus can be built with libaacs support enabled.
I'll diff the specs and see if there's anything that needs to be merged.
If you can do the review and co-maintain with me, that would be awesome.

Sure, no problem.
