Thanks. Question are you already a sponsored Fedora or rpmfusion packager? I would certainly welcome a co-maintainer of mpg123. No, sadly I am not. I just switched to Fedora recently; I have a few years of Debian packaging experience and am now familiarizing myself with Spec files and such. :-) Hi, (In reply to comment #2) > No, sadly I am not. If we do this in Fedora proper then you also automatically (well needs someone to a manually approve your account) an rpmfusion packager. So about this update, did you check if they did not (accidentally) introduce any ABI changes ? OK, I will do that. Thanks for the advice! > So about this update, did you check if they did not (accidentally) introduce > any ABI changes ? Well, the soname is the same. http://upstream-tracker.org/versions/mpg123.html also mentions 100% compatibility. Ok, good. I'll try to make some time for all your updates the coming week. Created attachment 1278 [details] Update to 1.18.1 The attached patch updates the mpg123 package to version 1.18.1, which is 100% backwards compatible according to http://upstream-tracker.org/versions/mpg123.html Hi, Sorry for taking so long to get around to this. I've just build updated packages for F-19 - F-21, these should show up in the repositories with the next package push, closing. Regards, Hans |
