Description Miro Hrončok 2014-01-12 11:02:38 CET
Each time I turn on the device (or wake it up), NetworkManager applet is "in progress" state for a long time, until I realize, that I'm already connected to the WiFi or wired, but what struggles is connecting to wired network called wboxnet0. If I don't cancel the connection, the "in progress" state last for ever.

What is this network? Why it is up even when I'm not currently running any virtual machine and why it fails to connect?

VirtualBox-4.3.6-4.fc20.x86_64

I don't understand your text .
which system do this host or guest , what is system of guest ?

what device do you plug , usb ?
don't understand the relation

hum I don't have any wboxnet0 , in host , and in guest system is one p2p1 , so VirtualBox by default doesn't create any network device in host system
Comment 3 Miro Hrončok 2014-01-13 21:52:03 CET
This happens on host. I don't even regularly run VirtualBox at all, this happens right after host start. I plug no device at all.

It started when I used Network only with host option in one of the Virtual Machines.

Hi, sorry I never set a "Network only", so I can't help you now. Please could you point me a link where explain how I can do it, to try reproduce this issue in my test machines.

Anyway this is far from packaging, so I suggest try report on www.virtualbox.org may be is a know problem , I don't know .

Hi Miro Hrončok, since you never explain what you want to do , I assume that is the same problem of bug #3480 new VBoxNetNAT module

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 3480 ***
Comment 6 Miro Hrončok 2015-01-05 12:53:20 CET
Well, sorry for not replying. I've unchecked the always connect to this network automatically checkbox for the network and that workarouned the issue.

But I assume this is not a duplicate of bug #3480, the network was working correctly.

I'm fixing some issues in VirtualBox.spec , related with Network modules , after that I would like that you test it :) please
