Description Anthony Messina 2014-03-01 08:42:26 CET
See https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=73016 -- the wrong colors are produced. The issue was resolved here:

http://cgit.freedesktop.org/vaapi/intel-driver/commit/?id=54cb60f3d973ce6a908ea57f5aa7481803fe653a

But that commit is after the 1.2.2 release. Please consider applying this fix to the RPMFusion package of libva-intel-driver so that VAAPI playback with the intel drivers works properly.

This issue doesn't exist in 1.2.1.

thx, backported and build
BTW, I don't have an intel adapter at hand, so I would be interested in anyone taking over the package at some point. Would you volunteer ?

Thanks Nicolas. I'm not sure I'd be able to take over this package. I just have one MythTV frontend (Zotac) with an Intel HD Graphics 2000 (8086:0102) chipset that seems to work reasonably well with this driver. I only found this issue via a quick Google search and the patch seemed simple enough to ask for inclusion.

I've sort of bee waiting for RPMFusion to complete the move to Git/Koji since I do have experience maintaining a few of my own packages in a private Koji system, but I have zero knowledge of CVS/Plague, etc. I think when that happens, I'd be able to contribute more effectively within my own time constraints.
