ffmpeg commit cdf6eb5a97

This fixes an issue that will cause mpv to fall back to software decoding when trying to play VC1 encoded video with hw accel. The fix is in ffmpeg HEAD and the new 2.3 release, but hasn't made it into the other branches of ffmpeg (yet?).

The patch is simply diff'd from the ffmpeg git repository and applies cleanly to ffmpeg 2.1.5 (fc20) as well as 2.2.5 (development).

Thanks for the report. I forwarded it upstream, so hopefully this will be included in the next 2.2/2.1 branch releases.
Comment 2 Dominik 'Rathann' Mierzejewski 2014-09-21 01:43:57 CEST
This was backported to 2.1/2.2 upstream, so it'll appear in the next builds.
Comment 3 Julian Sikorski 2014-12-01 07:32:35 CET
2.1.6 was now built for F-20, it should appear in the repositories over the next few days.
