Hello, Thanks for reporting this issue. I've noticed that you already reported this issue (https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2984#c8), but sorry for my lack of answer. Maybe you should be interested in the comment of response 2 of this thread: http://askubuntu.com/questions/249566/wrong-mac-address-error-in-virtual-console The user has solved the problem by "cloning" the real mac address in the "cloned MAC address" in the GUI settings tool for NetworkManager. For my part, on Fedora 20, with nothing in the "cloned MAC address" setting, I've got no messages in logs. Please, if you could provide feedback about this workaround, this should be probably (I hope so) useful for other users. Cordially, -- NVieville Thank you, I've tried the solution suggested and it has no effect on my system -- fc21 kde desktop. The mac address it shows is neither the AP mac nor the mac of the broadcom interface. Adding a cloned mac address does not change the "profile =00:00:00:00:00:00" error. Perhaps if I knew what "profile" refers to I could do something about it. I have to do something because my log files, journal become enormous and impossible to read. Is there some way to change the debug level of the running module? RPMFusion is no longer releasing updates for this version of Fedora. This bug will be set to RESOLVED:EXPIRED next week to reflect this. If the problem persists after upgrading to the latest version of Fedora, please update the version field of this bug (and re-open it if it has been closed). Closing this bug with the EXPIRED resolution since Fedora no longer ships updates for this version of Fedora. Please set the Version field to a supported version of Fedora if you re-open this bug. |
