Description Tiger 2015-03-30 15:47:45 CEST
While the VirtualBox 4.3.26 kernel mods are build for kernel version 3.19.2 on Fedora 21, the main package of VirtualBox 4.3.26 still seems to be unavailable. I'd expect this to be caused by an error during the build process.

With the mods for the latest kernel versions only available for VirtualBox 4.3.26, and the main package of VirtualBox 4.3.26 missing, VirtualBox currently cannot be installed off the rpmfusion repository.

Please, check the build process of the current version of VirtualBox for errors and make sure the main package becomes available, again.

Thanks!
Kind Regards, Tiger

Tiger, please have a look at https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3568

For me, 4.3.26 is now available and VirtualBox is now installable from rpm-fusion

However, I have another problem, which is that vboxdrv kernel module is not loaded
Do you see the same issue? Or is VirtualBox running fine for you now?

As of today, the VirtualBox main package is available, again.

@chris: thanks for your comment! I wasn't aware of any problems in the akmods, since I use the pre-compiled kmods.

To get rid of the boot error message about the kernel modules being unavailable, just issue a 'sudo dracut --force' to re-build the initramfs after updating the kernel mods. VirtualBox works fine for me, now.
