Please check the following redhat bugs and consider disabling opencl support in ffmpeg until the ocl-icd issue has some conclusion.

Any reason why this appear on f23+ and can this be reproduced on f21 or f22 ?

As you can see in bug 1205880 it was triggered by glibc update 2.21.90-8 in rawhide , without figuring out exactly why it started deadlocking now and not before that. Given Carlos' explanation perhaps its sheer luck that it was not a problem before that.

I expect F22 will stay with glibc-2.21 stable for now so I won't be affected.
