It seems like rpmfusion-updates might not be enabled, since: $ dnf list all audacity\* Available Packages audacity-freeworld.x86_64 2.1.1-1.fc22 rpmfusion-free-updates 2.0.6 is quite old, and the above suggests that vamp stuff changed in an incompatible way. What to you get for the same command ? Doing the whole thing again! First, I removed the installed audacity from fedora. The error messages at audacity start (see below) still appear, but now audacity continues, so I think my issue seems to be solved.
