Something seems to be wrong with the package provides: # repoquery --releasever=22 --provides x264 x264 = 0.142-12.20141221git6a301b6.fc22 x264(x86-64) = 0.142-12.20141221git6a301b6.fc22 Why are no library capabilities showing up? Hi, You should query x264-libs repoquery --releasever=22 x264-libs --provides (...) libx264.so.142()(64bit) (...) dnf install "libx264.so.142()(64bit)" (...) Package x264-libs-0.142-12.20141221git6a301b6.fc22.x86_64 is already installed, skipping. we found a problem with pkgconfig(x264) = ... but seem to me is not related . Best regards, @richard, avidemux is currently been rebuilt for f23 But you could update to the latest upstream version either in cvs or git (soon) so it will be available in f21+ Whoops, forgot about x254-libs... I'll try building the latest version. I know it errored out but can't remember why and haven't had time to get back to it. Found it... + make -C build_plugins_qt4 install DESTDIR=/home/build/rpmbuild/avidemux/BUILDROOT/avidemux-2.6.10-1.fc21.x86_64 make: Entering directory '/home/build/rpmbuild/avidemux/BUILD/avidemux_2.6.10/build_plugins_qt4' make: *** No rule to make target 'install'. Stop. As far as I can remember it builds using the bootstrap file which I'm basically mimicking. yeah, somehow avidemux doesn't got rebuild for new libx264.so.148 ... @richard, like kwizart point out we could update avidemux to 2.6.10 , 2.6.8 is a version of 2014-03 Thanks in advance :) Alright, I think I figured out what was going wrong with the build. Cmake was detecting qt4 but the build was somehow finding qt5 on my system, but the error message during configuration isn't fatal so it was really hard to find. I added the appropriate cmake argument to force qt5 and doing a test build now. When its fixed, where can i download the updated packages? I missed removing one comment while I was debugging the issue so although it has been rebuilt it still has an issue. As soon as I verify the fix I'll request new builds. The dependency on 142 makes avidemux uninstallable on up to date X86_64 (x264-libs 148). It works on i686: sudo dnf install avidemux Last metadata expiration check: 1:29:45 ago on Mon Apr 11 17:26:13 2016. Error: nothing provides libx264.so.142()(64bit) needed by avidemux-qt-2.6.8-3.fc22.x86_64 Blocking bug to request build for master/f23. When RPMFusion F23 considered stable, it will be copied to rpmfusion-free repo the right version, I hope. |
