Description Richard 2015-11-09 23:19:54 CET
As of 14.4.2, upstream hid most of the lsx_* symbols as they consider them private. Unfortunately, this prevents several plugin libraries from building dynamically including flac (Fedora), mp3 (RPM fusion), and arnb & arwb (RPM Fusion Nonfree).

I have developed a patch to expose the required functions (lsx_error & lsx_flush) but have not gotten a response from either sox upstream or the Fedora maintainers.

The Fedora package maintainer is doing builds right now that fix this problem, but I'm not sure what timing you are looking at for F23 GA.

The Fedora packages are in testing. I have updated git for f22/f23 (hopefully correctly) for sox-plugins-freeworld and sox-plugins-nonfree. If we build soon they should release about the same time as the Fedora package.

this is fixed isn't it ? if yes, may we close this bug ?

Thanks.

Fixed on Fedora and RPM Fusion, thanks.
