caja-dropbox-1.12 is available!!! This is the right version for f23/rawhide. Doing a cvs devel build for f21 is whorse, f21 will never get an update for mate-1.12. If someone told me to build for f23 without busting f22/f21 i'm happy to do that ;) PS: using 1.8.0 for f23 is complete wrong. Hi, You may fork https://github.com/rpmfusion/caja-dropbox/ and write in this report what you like pull request to rpmfusion ? and you may inform if is it to build for F23 and/or F22 Thanks. Ok, i've cloned the git repo and update master(f23) branch to 1.12.0. How can i push my changes to orign? My github account is is raveit65. Should i add the tarball to the branch too? Btw. is this the way how building for rpmfusion works in future? Maintainer commit at github and some admin starts the build? Ahh, damned i missread you info. I need to clone the repo and doing a pull request? Same question here, how i handle the tarball? errr...... s/clone/fork/g .... to early for me :) Sergio, i'm confused <raveit65> leigh123linux, morning, do you have a idea how building rpmfusion package with github works now? <raveit65> or any other here? <kwizart> raveit65, it's nowhere writted that packages are built with github, it's only a RO mirror <raveit65> i've forked https://github.com/rpmfusion/caja-dropbox and did a PR for a updated spec file for master(f23) <kwizart> oh, you can still do PR, that's interesting, we should be able to hook PR to bugzilla, <raveit65> https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3852#c3 <raveit65> someone told me that :) <raveit65> but how i handle the new tarball? <kwizart> raveit65, best is to ask sergio to commit the changes for you, he will request me to build the related packages where is the fork ? , let me know what do you want to pull or push ? , I, as provenpackager , will fetch your fork and merge into our git [1]. Anyways, all done https://github.com/rpmfusion/caja-dropbox/commit/bec1b780e8d84c0bf762b30790e376052a11faa4 (In reply to comment #10) > > spectool -g caja-dropbox.spec , should be able to download the source , if it > > is not possible > > It was not the question to download a tarball, this isn't new for me :) > The question was to upload the tarball, as you said to me in comment 3, > i should fork the repo and do my commits. > Anyways, all done > https://github.com/rpmfusion/caja-dropbox/commit/bec1b780e8d84c0bf762b30790e376052a11faa4 if spectool -g caja-dropbox.spec works, you don't need upload the source, we run spectool -g in builder, else you may use old CVS method (make new-sources FILES="foo.tar.bz2"), while we do not have rfpkg We (but not me yet) are working in a new tool rfpkg [1] [1] https://github.com/rpmfusion-infra/rfpkg (In reply to comment #1) > caja-dropbox-1.12 is available!!! > This is the right version for f23/rawhide. > Doing a cvs devel build for f21 is whorse, f21 will never get an update for > mate-1.12. > If someone told me to build for f23 without busting f22/f21 i'm happy to do > that ;) Package caja-dropbox-1.12.0-1.fc23.x86_64 is already in repos , fixed.
