buts gives more work , and if you want smtube shouldn't be a problem install smplayer ... . TBO I prefer make smtube a sub-package of smplayer ... Anyway Vascom , I'd like talk to you ,to bring you and some of your work to RPMFusion , since RPMFusion is back in business ! and all reformulate Russian Fedora (now you don't need repalce RPMFusion anymore) ... What do you think. I agree if I can be maintainer (comaintainer) of some packages. What should I do to join your team? (In reply to comment #2) > I agree if I can be maintainer (comaintainer) of some packages. What packages do you want maintain ? preferably packages that aren't update , or need some exchange . > What should I do to join your team? you need a fas username on https://fas.rpmfusion.org/ My FAS username at https://fas.rpmfusion.org/ vascom I would like to maintain next few packages: bino exfat-utils fuse-exfat freshplayerplugin lives smplayer And may be move some useful packages from russianfedora repo in the future. For example: ffmulticonverter, deadbeef, flacon, eiskaltdcpp. Also I can check and update any package if it is not very hard or requre complex patches. I can help make specs meet the requirements of Fedora packaging guidelines. I fixed smplayer: https://pkgs.rpmfusion.org/cgit/free/smplayer.git/commit/?id=c99493782a75fdf3e108db2402b30b4225436118 > And may be move some useful packages from russianfedora repo in the future. For > example: ffmulticonverter, deadbeef, flacon, eiskaltdcpp. we need one package review for each packages and we could ask for review swaps, I will sponsor you. > Also I can check and update any package if it is not very hard or requre > complex patches. I can help make specs meet the requirements of Fedora > packaging guidelines. I suggest one quick Self Introduction for rpmfusion-developers@lists.rpmfusion.org , you may mention me and this bug report etc. and begin this packages reviews , after package review approved, I can sponsor you, after be sponsored you may request be maintainer or co-maintainer of other packages ... Best regards and thanks. Hello , I closing this bug report as fixed . as you may see , infrastructure migration isn't finish , since F19 , we got problems of maintain some packages , so now the rule is : we open a bug report (like you did for smplayer) , and after sometime, lets say two weeks, if noone is responsive, I may use my proven packager rights and update the package in question. Also after some unresponsive time we may request CVS change to include you as maintainer. Thanks, OK. |
