Hi, I am also having this problem on Fedora 25, with kernel-4.9.5-200.fc25.x86_64 akmod-wl-6.30.223.271-7.fc25.x86_64 broadcom-wl-6.30.223.271-1.fc25.x86_64 Nothing in dmesg, module is present in extra/wl/wl.ko Everything works with kernel-4.9.4-201.fc25.x86_64. wl-kmod is working again for me on 4.9.6-200.fc25.x86_64. wl-kmod is working for me too on F24 now after upgrading to kernel 4.9.6-100.fc24.x86_64 rpm -ql kmod-wl-4.9.6-100.fc24.x86_64-6.30.223.271-7.fc24.x86_64 /usr/lib/modules/4.9.6-100.fc24.x86_64/extra /usr/lib/modules/4.9.6-100.fc24.x86_64/extra/wl /usr/lib/modules/4.9.6-100.fc24.x86_64/extra/wl/wl.ko Hello, Thanks for reporting this issue. For my part, using F-25 with all the 4.9.x kernels didn't produce any issues the last weeks with a BCM4313 device. Maybe you hit some combinations of parameters (kernel, hardware, settings) that produced these issues. Feel free to complete this bug report with all the information you can provide in case you encounter a problem again. Cordially, -- NVieville Here are the details on my wireless adapter:
Broadcom Limited BCM4352 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter (rev 03)
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Device 2154
Fedora 23 will be EOL-ed this week and RPMFusion will no longer be releasing updates for this version of Fedora. This bug will be set to RESOLVED:EXPIRED next weekend to reflect this. If the problem persists after upgrading to the latest version of Fedora, please update the version field of this bug (and re-open it if it has been closed). F24 IS EOL |
