you need logout and login after setup you user in lpf-gui . after login type id , should have your user with groups=(...)436(pkg-build) As said, the group was set and computer rebooted. Today I tried removing my account from the pkg-build group with 'sudo gpasswd -d $USER pkg-build' and and for some reason it started working (at least for installing skype. Spotify gives 404-error). Thanks for your comment though, id shows 982(pkg-build) instead of 436(pkg-build), that might have had something to do with it. the group number is not important did you get this message: You must be member of the pkg-build group to run lpf (log out and in again to mute this dialog). OK to add group pkg-build to your current user sergio? After push yes (will be asked root password) and add pkg-build to your user, after you *must* logout session and login again for your user assume the group pkg-build, or run : su - $USER in terminal lpf-gui You may also add yourself to pkg-build group like you described . I had update lpf-spotify-client in http://koji.rpmfusion.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=3076 you may test it with : dnf install http://koji.rpmfusion.org/kojifiles/packages/lpf-spotify-client/1.0.48/1.fc25/noarch/lpf-spotify-client-1.0.48-1.fc25.noarch.rpm |
