samba share file no more working: the package has been compiled without --libsmbclient . (mpv providers' have modified the "whaf" build script)

How reproducible: systematic (always)
Steps to Reproduce:
1. mpv -v smb://<samba share video>


Actual results: the video is not displayed. this message is displayed "No protocol handler found to open URL smb://<samba share video>


Expected results:
the ≤samba share video> is playing

Additional info:
a) workaround :
sudo dnf downgrade mpv 
this downgrades mpv to mpv-0.25.0-2.fc26.x86_64
b) correction
enable "--libsmbclient" in the main waf script "wscript" of the src rpm src. location :  ./mpv-0.26.0-1.fc26.src/mpv-0.26.0/wscript and rebuild the bin package
