Kodi does not use any KDE or kf5 component. It would be impossible for a kf5-plasma update to break Kodi. Okay, at the same time python3 was updated and so was java. Are either of those likely to cause problems? No, because Kodi is a C++ application. It does not use Java. Python is only used by add-ons and it only supports Python 2.x at this time. As it turns out it was Negativo17's ffmpeg update that broke things. Sorry to waste your time. |
