Progress indicator moves but no audio or video on local files. I have not tried add-ons to see if streaming works.
Comment 1 Michael Cronenworth 2017-11-04 19:43:28 CET
Kodi does not use any KDE or kf5 component. It would be impossible for a kf5-plasma update to break Kodi.
Comment 2 Joshua 2017-11-04 22:48:00 CET
Okay, at the same time python3 was updated and so was java. Are either of those likely to cause problems?
Comment 3 Michael Cronenworth 2017-11-06 04:16:31 CET
No, because Kodi is a C++ application. It does not use Java. Python is only used by add-ons and it only supports Python 2.x at this time.
Comment 4 Joshua 2017-11-06 16:38:16 CET
As it turns out it was Negativo17's ffmpeg update that broke things.
Sorry to waste your time.
