sample video that doesn't play properly with vlc

gtkrecordmydesktop records in Theora. Trying to play the file in VLC results in black video. It plays fine in Totem.

When transcoding the video with ffmpeg, in the output:

I don't reproduce with vlc-3.0.0-0.38.git20171103.fc26.x86_64
Can you update to that version ? f25 is going to be eol in one month, I don't plan to do major update anymore there.

The sample video also plays for me in Fedora 27 with current VLC related packages.

RPMFusion is no longer releasing updates for this version of Fedora. This bug
will be set to RESOLVED:EXPIRED next week to reflect this.

If the problem persists after upgrading to the latest version of Fedora, please
update the version field of this bug (and re-open it if it has been closed).
