Description rpmfusion 2017-11-13 18:41:53 CET
Several mythtv subpackages (mytharchive, mythbrowser, mythffmpeg, mythgallery, mythgame, mythmusic) depend on libx265.so.116() which seems to be from x265-libs-2.4. The newer x265-libs-2.5 instead provides libx265.so.130(), so x265-libs can't be upgraded when the mythtv packages are installed, and then neither can, e.g. ffmpeg, vlc, some gstreamer1 plugins.

Whomever did the x265 update should have rebuilt all dependencies, however, there are some updates for mythtv to fix issues with HDHR tuners so I'm doing a test build now before doing the real builds.

Thanks for the quick response :)
Comment 3 Sérgio Basto 2017-11-15 17:04:17 CET
yeah my fault sorry

my mass rebuild x265 script failed in F27 because I don't had the commit of mass rebuild in rawhide for myth .

But this is going to be fixed soon .
Comment 4 Richard 2017-11-15 17:15:16 CET
I already took care of mythtv. :)
Comment 5 Sérgio Basto 2017-11-15 17:22:40 CET

Any idea how long it will take for the fix to hit the repository? I see 29.0-4 built recent -- http://koji.rpmfusion.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=5597

Nice, just built the RPMs and it works!
Comment 11 Richard 2017-11-16 16:32:00 CET
Good, was going to ask you to verify the fix. Closing.
Comment 12 James 2017-12-21 01:02:02 CET
So will the next version which gets built contain the fix?
Comment 13 rpmfusion 2017-12-21 12:10:15 CET
The dependency conflict this bug was about was fixed a bit over a month ago.

I did see a brief new x265-libs conflict a couple of days ago, but that seems to have been resolved as well now.

If you're still seeing a conflict, it would probably be best to open a new bug.
