Output of `dnf -v update'

After enabling rpmfusion[1] on Fedora Workstation 27 dnf fails to synchronize cache for 'rpmfusion-free-updates'.

[1] sudo dnf install https://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-$(rpm -E %fedora).noarch.rpm https://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-$(rpm -E %fedora).noarch.rpm

I was able to successfully synchronize cache after switching[1] from metalink to baseurl.

[1] sudo sed -i 's|^#baseurl|baseurl| ; s|^metalink|#metalink|' /etc/yum.repos.d/rpmfusion-free-updates.repo

@Adrian,
What's the situation with mm ? There is also an IRC report that the ftp.astral.ro mirror is down,but not discarded from the metalink ?

Thx

It seems the crawler and the backend system was hanging for a few days and not correctly detecting changes on the master mirror.

An unreachable mirror should not really be a problem as dnf will switch to the next mirror.

I have rebooted the system and started the master scan and updated the mirrorlist servers. It seems correct now.

@hitori.gm changing the repository file is never a good idea, thanks for reporting it and you should change it back to the original.

@Adrian,

Regarding the repo file it was mentioned in the FAQ[1] as a temporary workaround. Also I did a backup before modifying the original and after reverting back to the original it works again.

Thanks for fixing it!
