I can confirm that fresh install of F28 have Kodi build that is garbage. Slow startups, GARBAGE SOUND and quitting must be done twice via 'kill' x2.

But the most broken is output of GARBAGE instead of sound. Nothing is watchable, either from online streams nor HDD regardless of encoding. Sound is TOTAL GARBAGE. This is totally unacceptable. Kodi from Debian works on Debian Stable, Kodi on KaOS works perfectly too and MPV on F28 has crystal clear sound. Happens only on Kodi from rpmfusion in F28. regardless of libav or ffmpeg or any other circumstances.

Please look at KaOS and its build of Kodi (recommended) or 'Kodi from Debian' on Debian Stable.
