history info <id> of the update that broke my system

After an update, (dnf history info for specific update attached), I could no longer access the login screen (gdm). Instead we receive a cryptic error message screen.

"Oh no! Something has gone wrong."
A problem has occured and the system cannot recover. Please logout and try again.

Logging out and trying again doesn't help.

After removing the xorg-x11-nvidia package I am able to get back to gnome. Now only one monitor works.

Here is the lspci output.

After reading through bug https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4935 I found that I can get to a gui by disabling gdm and then using startx.
