Description Orcan Ogetbil 2009-04-09 22:00:36 CEST
I logged in to FAS (or should I call it RAS?) and changed my email address. FAS sent me a confirmation email which leads to a page with a button to confirm the change. When I click the button, I get a page that says "500 Internal error" and it gives a long trace output afterwards. I tried this a couple times and it failed always.

I don't know if I am supposed to attach the trace output. Is it confidential? How do I make a bug non-public?
Comment 1 Orcan Ogetbil 2009-04-09 22:03:15 CEST
I emailed the trace output to Xavier.
Comment 2 Xavier Lamien 2009-04-10 00:08:27 CEST
Thx for the output.
Will fix asap.
Comment 3 Orcan Ogetbil 2009-04-22 05:48:03 CEST
When I click the Confirm button, I still get the error. Should I hit Cancel and try changing it again?

Any news on this? I still get an error:

InternalError: (InternalError) ('Basic FAS group fedorabugs does not exist',)
 'UPDATE people SET email=%(email)s, unverified_email=%(unverified_email)s WHERE people.id = %(people_id)s' {'unverified_email': '', 'people_id': 1218, 'email': 'foo@example.com'}

I need to get out of the DB rules some fedora project specific hard-coded rules in order to let you guys change email easier.

this will surely requires an outage.

This is fixed now.

sorry for having been so long.
