Description Charles R. Anderson 2020-01-09 16:51:05 CET
I suggest changing the URL from:

URL : https://github.com/intel/media-driver

to:

URL : https://01.org/intel-media-for-linux

My reasoning is that there are more resources mentioned on the latter page, and it explains the difference between this driver and the older libva-intel-driver (found at URL: https://01.org/linuxmedia).

Copmare https://01.org/intel-media-for-linux:

"Note: The vaapi-driver supports up to Cannon Lake, which will be replaced by the IntelĀ® Media driver.
"

with https://01.org/linuxmedia:

"Intel Video Driver For Linux

The intel-vaapi-driver will not be actively maintained. From BDW and SKL+, intel-media-driver for VAAPI is recommended. For details about the Intel open source media-driver and its ecosystem, see link."

Used the https://01.org/intel-media-for-linux in description as It's best to keep the current URL for bugtracking and source download.
