Description:
GStreamer is a streaming media framework, based on graphs of filters which
operate on media data. Applications using this library can do anything
from real-time sound processing to playing videos, and just about anything
else media-related. Its plugin-based architecture means that new data
types or processing capabilities can be added simply by installing new
plugins.

Why not in Fedora? Legacy unmaintained branch still required by a handful of
proprietary applications. To be placed in separate RPM Fusion repository.

This project is deprecated, no longer supported by upstream, removed from Fedora due to lots of critical vulnerabilities with CVE numbers.

It should not be pushed to any repositories anymore.

We plan to have it in a rpmfusion-legacy (or whatever the name) dedicated repository.
