Description NVieville 2021-03-20 12:10:39 CET
Hello,

Last akmod-nvidia-390xx.x86_64 package (version 3:390.141-3.fc33) doesn't allow akmods to build kmod-nvidia-390xx* against 5.11.7-200.fc33.x86_64 kernel.

As a suggestion (sorry, I've not tested it), maybe the patch below should be a source of inspiration in order to make the transition to 5.11.x kernels smoother for rpmfusion users?

https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/kernel-5.11.patch?h=nvidia-390xx

The attached patch works fine with the current akmod-nvidia-390xx under fc32.

Thank you for the pointer, NVieville!

Thanks. Patch added and built for f32-f35. Should appear in updates shortly.

Hello,

Thanks for your work on this.

Downloaded and installed last akmod-nvidia-390xx.x86_64 package from koji.rpmfusion.org. kmod-nvidia-390xx* builds correctly against 5.11.7-200.fc33.x86_64 kernel and works correctly.

Issue fixed.

Thank you again.

Cordially,
