sudo ./rpi-eeprom-update 
fails with error
line 118: strings: command not found
line 129: vcgencmd: command not found

Raspberry Pi Foundation "downstream kernel" 

According to the instructions I should be able to do this...
git clone https://github.com/raspberrypi/rpi-eeprom.git
cd rpi-eeprom
sudo ./rpi-eeprom-update 

At least on aarch64 this does not work with the workstation build image

In case anyone else comes accross this problenm.... I can fix this by...
# pip3 install vcgencmd

Is raspberrypi-vc-utils package installed?
