Description igetin 2021-11-20 11:48:37 CET
As of June this year, Discord is no longer marketed nor developed as a gaming-first chat application: https://blog.discord.com/your-place-to-talk-a7ffa19b901b. The software is now branded as a general purpose chat app for everyone, and they've been promoting their featureset for a more general audience (even before the branding change), such as for education: https://discord.com/blog/how-to-use-discord-for-your-classroom & https://discord.com/blog/eight-educational-communities-to-further-your-field-of-study

The package's current summary and description don't reflect this:

Current summary: "All-in-one voice and text chat for gamers"
Current description: "Linux Release for Discord, a free proprietary VoIP application designed for gaming communities."

I propose the "for gamers" part be removed from the summary, and the "designed for gaming communities" removed from the description, at minimum. Maybe the phrase "general purpose" could be added to both as well, but I think it'd be fine without that too.

Submit a pull request at rpmfusion github if you want it changed.

Will do! I was not aware of that repository — thanks!
