Description plumchii 2022-11-25 21:51:19 CET
dvdstyler will complain about not being able to find a configuration file when attempting to create an ISO image. The process does continue regardless.

I understand that this might be more appropriate as an upstream bug as it seems to happen on Ubuntu as well: https://sourceforge.net/p/dvdstyler/discussion/318795/thread/bb0a74cb26/

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create project
2. Add video
3. Open Burn menu and select "create iso image" with a destination folder.
4. Error will occur

The issue can be resolved by creating a .dvdstyler in home folder of user but this is not done on first startup or installation of package.

Example error
------------
20:36:13: Failed to create a temporary file name (error 2: No such file or directory)
20:36:13: can't open user configuration file.

from https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/274563-DVDStyler-has-stopped-working-Errors-out-now

"I believe I have finally solved this problem once and for all. The problem was DVDStyler did not like the temp folder having special characters. I removed one, and it is working again. Funny enough, this quirk is not mentioned in the operation manual. A quick email from the developers stating this minor problem would have been nice. "

Thanks for thread link. Strange since I've left the temp directory to the default "/tmp". I did test with "/home/user/videos" and that also didn't work.

I can confirm that the saved project burns the ISO without a user configuration file error on Microsoft Windows 10, so I assume this is a Linux only issue.
