I don't know the exact version of the driver dropped support, but several machines stopped working when updating to 545.

Models such as:

Quadro RTX 4000
GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

When you go to the nvidia driver download site, they only offer driver version 535.

I don't know what the criteria is for building a kmod-nvidia-535xx, but the current 545 version is broken for some older cards.  The only other option is to go back to the 470 driver for now.

Both cards are listed as supported in xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-545.29.06-1.el9.x86_64.rpm, see
