The aMule messages when launched from console, after the last update

With the latest update today, 06-27-2024, aMule suddenly stopped working properly. Even deleting the muleLock file didn't solve the problem. By launching the program from the console you discover why: while loading the part files in the pixman_region32_int_rect function a bug occurs which causes the program to freeze and it aborts at startup. Attached is the text produced when aMule is started from the console and where the cause of the error is shown.

Yes, in my computer the graphic card is a NVidia running with the nouveau driver. After the last updates aMule have this problem.

This bug or operating anomaly appeared on aMule immediately after the update carried out a day ago. Until yesterday it worked normally, then after carrying out the usual updates it suddenly stopped working. Today I booted up normally and tried running it - nothing changed. It must be said that even today there were updates that included a new kernel. I haven't tested it under this new one yet. Advice? Note: no experimental branch, no Rawhide, just regular series and the graphics card is a trivial NVidia with NV106 running using KDE Plasma 6 under Wayland. The repos I use are the standard ones: Fedora, Terra, RPM Fusion, Cheese.

after update nvidia drives , is usual some graphics stop to work until reboot,
nothing to do with amule.

" booted up normally "????

did you reboot ? , after reboot do you still have or not this bug ?

I wanted to do a test with the new kernel that arrived today, 6.9.6-200, still under KDE Plasma 6 under Wayland and nothing, aMule crashes at startup, shows the list of files being downloaded while checking their integrity, you can tell from the colors used and it dies! Launched from the console it shows the usual messages, the ones I provided in the attachment the first time.

There was a small change and I think maybe the reason for the problem. I believe that in my case aMule was unable to find the correct part files but by installing eMule under Wine to try to solve the problem and correcting them the problem disappeared. This bug could easily be considered closed at this point.
