I am running into a very strange problem with the following drivers installed under Fedora 10...

Under both the 2.6.27.x and 2.6.29.x kernels, using Fedora testing updates,
I find that the 64-bit glx is non-functional but the 32-bit version is fine.
For example, if I execute a glxinfo 32-bit binary under x86_64 Fedora 10, I

Problem running the 64-bit glxgears doesn't exist if I do and 'su' first to execute the program as root under the user account. I will test adding...

I noticed that the wiki on the nvidia driver refers to adding users to the video group (which Fedora 10 seems to lack)...

After some confusion, I pinned down the problem to a specific set of user accounts which were using LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
