Description Cepreu 2009-08-08 03:58:49 CEST
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open VLC.
2. Open some file for playing.

Result:
Sound stammer about 3 second of playing and then plays normally.

Expected result:
Sound must be smooth.

Additional comments:
If choose audio out "SDL", sound does not stammer, but when go to another location of file, vlc plays about 2 seconds sound of previous location and then begin plays sound of new location, so we have de synchronization of audio.

Version of package:
vlc-core-1.0.0-1.fc11.i586
vlc-1.0.0-1.fc11.i586

Confirmed, I still need to investigate to knonw if this is a F11 pulseaudio problem or a vlc's pulseaudio module one on 1.0.1.

(I will test 1.0.1 next week on F-10)

Can you give a try on vlc-1.0.4 using:
yum update --enablerepo=rpmfusion-free-updates-testing

Sorry, but in the reason of very slow reaction on this bug, i was delete pulseaudio and now use Alsa on desktop and notebook. So i can't reproduce this bug at all.

For the record, there is a slow reaction because there is a lack of contributors.
